Sajid Khan's Alleged Unwanted Advances: Navina Bole Recalls Being Told to Sit in Lingerie

Actor Navina Bole opened up about her experience of encountering director Sajid Khan and the shock it caused her. In an interview with Subhojit Ghosh on his YouTube channel, the actor revealed that she visited Sajid after he reached out to her to talk about a project. The actor alleged that when she arrived at his office, he requested her to remove her clothes to demonstrate how ‘comfortable’ she is in her own skin.
What Navina Bole said
During the conversation, Navina stated, “There is this awful, awful man whom I would never wish to meet in my life named Sajid Khan. He truly pushed the limits when it came to disrespecting women. I was very excited when he called me, and then he said, ‘Why don’t you just take off your clothes and sit in your lingerie? I need to see how at ease you are in your body. ’ I am referring to 2004, 2006. ”
‘I did not know what to say’
She continued, “Fortunately, I had someone waiting for me downstairs. I didn’t know how to respond, and he said, ‘Why? You wear a bikini on stage? So what is the issue? It's all ts and a in his words! You can come and sit here comfortably, be yourself. ’ I was at a loss for words and mentioned that I would need to go home and put on a bikini if that is what you want to see, and I cannot undress right now. Somehow, I managed to leave that place. He must have called me, not exaggerating, at least 50 times to inquire about my whereabouts and why I was not coming. ”
In 2018, Sajid Khan faced allegations of sexual harassment from three women, including actor Rachel White, assistant director Saloni Chopra, and journalist Karishma Upadhyay, as part of the #MeToo movement.
