The esteemed actress Saira Banu has recently been diagnosed with pneumonia and has experienced blood clots in her calves. Nevertheless, in a recent interview with India Today Digital, she revealed that her health has markedly improved and that she is concentrating on her recovery.

Saira Banu recently provided an update regarding her health following a recent scare, stating, "I have made significant progress. The clots have dissolved. I need to focus on getting fitter and starting physiotherapy. I am recovering well, and I am in a good state now." Earlier this year, the actress encountered various health issues, including restricted mobility. Nevertheless, her team reassured her, “She is doing well now. The previous challenges have been addressed, and she is much improved.”

Saira Banu's health difficulties have persisted since the death of her cherished husband, the iconic actor Dilip Kumar, in 2021. In reflecting on her recent hospitalization, she expressed a deep emotional connection to her late spouse. In a poignant social media message, she recounted, “A nostalgic memory from my hospital bed of my dream wedding 58 years ago. ‘Do Sitaron Ka Zameen Par Hai Milan Aaj Ki Raat’ played on the radio throughout the night on October 11th, our wedding anniversary... a day I wish had never concluded. If someone had told me, ‘O Saira, you’ve got wings for real; you can fly,’ I would have accepted it without question. That’s how extraordinary that day felt, 58 autumns ago.”
