Saif Ali Khan was attacked at his home in Bandra, Mumbai, when an unknown intruder stabbed him with a knife during a robbery, according to officials. The incident happened around 2:30 am, and he was quickly taken to Lilavati Hospital for surgery. The actor has a bunch of films lined up and is currently working on Siddharth Anand's project called Jewel Thief. Because of this attack, it's likely that the filming for his upcoming movies will need to be pushed back. 

Saif Ali Khan's future projects

Before the incident, Saif Ali Khan was busy filming Jewel Thief: The Red Sun Chapter. The director, Siddharth Anand, even paid him a visit in the hospital. It looks like they’ll be adjusting the shooting schedule to accommodate Saif’s recovery.

On top of that, Saif is involved in Ramesh Taurani's Race 4, the fourth part of the Race series. He’s also got a project lined up with Sandeep Reddy Vanga called Spirit, which stars Telugu superstar Prabhas in the lead role. 

Saif, who recently appeared in Devara: Part 1 alongside Jr. NTR and Janhvi Kapoor, is set to return for Devara: Part 2 as well. He’s also lined up for several other projects, including Click Shankar directed by Tamil filmmaker Balaji Mohan, an untitled film with Priyadarshan, and Shootout at Byculla with Sanjay Gupta. There are also rumors about him working on a film with his daughter, Sara Ali Khan, but details on that are still under wraps.

On another note, regarding the attack, a source from the Mumbai police told Indian Express, “We believe someone may have helped him get in, and a fight broke out for some reason. The local police are questioning her to gather more information about the suspect. Seven teams from the local police are actively searching for him.”
