Saif Ali Khan has been recognized as a genuine hero in real life, as noted by a user on X (formerly Twitter) in response to reports of the actor being stabbed while attempting to safeguard his family. An X user expressed their thoughts regarding the incident in which Saif was injured while attempting to protect his staff, stating, “Actor Saif Ali Khan sustained injuries while defending his household. Meanwhile, some individuals speculated that the recent vacation of Saif and Kareena Kapoor Khan may have brought them bad luck, while others raised concerns regarding the security shortcomings at their residences.

What really happened

On Thursday, Saif Ali Khan's team issued an official statement indicating, "An attempted burglary occurred at Mr. Saif Ali Khan's residence. He is presently hospitalized for surgery. We kindly ask the media and fans for their patience during this time. This matter is under police investigation, and we will provide updates as the situation develops."

Similarly, Kareena Kapoor Khan's team released a statement, which noted, "An attempted burglary took place at the residence of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan last night. Saif sustained an injury to his arm and is currently undergoing a medical procedure in the hospital. The rest of the family is safe. We urge the media and fans to refrain from speculation, as the police are actively conducting their investigation. We appreciate your concern. Team Kareena Kapoor Khan."

An intruder forcibly entered the actor's Bandra home at 2:30 AM on Thursday. Saif sustained knife wounds to his neck, near the spine, and in four additional areas while attempting to protect his domestic worker. According to ANI, "an unidentified individual entered Actor Saif Ali Khan’s residence and engaged in a confrontation with his maid late last night." At the time of the incident, Kareena and their two sons, Taimur and Jeh, were also present in the house. His elder son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, transported him to Lilavati Hospital after being informed of the situation.
