While the paparazzi and fans were buzzing with excitement to see Saif, he paused for a moment, flashed a smile, and waved at them. He even gave a namaste and a thumbs up, showing that he’s doing alright. Notably, his left wrist was wrapped in a bandage.

Mumbai Police have taken Bangladeshi national Mohammad Shariful Islam Shahzad into custody in connection with the attack that happened in Thane on Sunday. The suspect reportedly broke into the actor's home in an attempted robbery, which led to a confrontation with Saif. During the struggle, he stabbed the actor six times. Saif arrived at Lilavati Hospital around 3 am on Thursday and underwent a five-hour surgery. He was later moved to the ICU, where a piece of the knife was removed from his body.
In response to the attack, new CCTV cameras were set up at the actor's residence in Bandra. Two individuals were spotted installing the cameras on the balcony. In the footage, one of them was seen climbing onto the air conditioner's condenser to reach the ceiling for the camera installation.
