Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was assaulted on January 16 at his residence in Bandra. An intruder entered the actor's home through the room of his youngest son, Jeh. In a bid to protect his family, Saif was stabbed six times, resulting in two severe injuries near his spine. During the actor's surgery, doctors discovered a 2.5-inch knife. Almost a month following the incident, Saif has finally spoken out and disclosed the details of what transpired.

In a discussion with the Delhi Times, Saif Ali Khan disclosed that the intruder entered with two knives, one of which was a hexa blade. The actor recounted that the assailant was striking him forcefully on the back, but he did not recognize it as a knife at the time, as he did not experience any pain from the blows.

Saif recounted that the experience was not particularly painful due to the overwhelming rush of adrenaline and shock at that moment. As the assailant attacked his neck, he instinctively defended himself with his hand, resulting in multiple cuts to his palm, wrist, and arm. "There was a flurry of violence, with slashes coming from both hands, most of which I managed to deflect," he disclosed.

The actor reflected on the struggle with the intruder, acknowledging that he eventually found himself unable to cope with the escalating situation. Khan noted that the attacker was armed with two knives while he was unarmed, barefoot, and dressed in a kurta pajama.

"At that moment, I was simply hoping that someone would intervene and help me. Fortunately, my wonderful housekeeper, Geeta, managed to pull him away from me and push him aside. We both then rolled away and secured the door. By this time, I was drenched in blood and had lost some sensation in my right leg," Saif shared.

Khan also mentioned that he attempted to ascend the stairs in search of an object to defend himself with. Meanwhile, his wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan, took their son Jeh to Taimur's room for safety.

Saif Ali Khan is set to appear next in the film Jewel Thief, alongside Jaideep Ahlawat. The movie, directed by Robbie Grewal, is scheduled for release on Netflix.
