The anticipation surrounding Ramayana Parts 1 and 2, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, is substantial, as it is expected to be one of the most significant cinematic events of the decade. Although the release of the first part is still two years away, the film has generated considerable discussion since its initial stages, when it was merely a speculation. It was subsequently confirmed that Tiwari had cast Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi in the roles of Lord Ram and Mata Sita, respectively. The project, divided into two parts, has consistently attracted media attention, with one particular rumour suggesting that Ranbir and Sai adopted a vegetarian diet in preparation for their roles. This rumour has now reached Sai Pallavi, who has expressed her discontent and issued a strong warning regarding potential legal repercussions.
"No More False Claims": Sai Pallavi Denies Turning Vegetarian for Ramayana Role
In a statement on X (formerly Twitter), Sai Pallavi conveyed her frustration regarding media outlets disseminating false information about her and her projects. She mentioned that while she typically opts for silence in the face of unfounded rumours, she felt compelled to speak out this time.
“Most of the time—almost every time—I choose to remain silent when confronted with baseless rumours, fabricated lies, or inaccurate statements being circulated, whether intentionally or not (only God knows the reason),” Sai Pallavi stated.
She continued, “However, it has become necessary for me to respond, as this pattern persists and shows no signs of stopping, particularly during the release of my films, announcements, or significant milestones in my career! Should I encounter any ‘reputable’ page, media outlet, or individual propagating a fabricated, nonsensical story under the guise of news or gossip, I will take legal action! Period!”
