Sai Pallavi is prepared to portray Sita alongside Ranbir Kapoor in Nitesh Tiwari's adaptation of Ramayana. Previously, there were claims suggesting that the actress had abstained from consuming non-vegetarian food for the role. However, she has since refuted those claims and issued a warning of potential legal action against any subsequent rumours.

Sai Pallavi turned vegetarian?

On Wednesday, Sai Pallavi took to X (formerly Twitter) to express her strong disapproval of the rumours regarding her decision to adopt a vegetarian diet for her portrayal of Sita in the Ramayana. She stated, "Most of the time, I remain silent in the face of unfounded rumours, fabricated lies, and inaccurate statements that are disseminated, intentionally or not. However, it has become imperative for me to respond, as this pattern persists and shows no signs of abating, particularly during significant moments in my career, such as film releases and announcements. Should I encounter any 'reputable' media outlet or individual propagating a fabricated story under the guise of news or gossip, I will not hesitate to take legal action. That is final."

Sai Pallavi has always been a vegetarian

Following a report from a Tamil daily, it has been noted that the actress has adopted a vegetarian diet in preparation for her portrayal of Sita. The report also mentioned that she travels with a personal team of chefs who exclusively prepare vegetarian meals for her during her journeys.

For those unfamiliar, Sai Pallavi has consistently identified as a vegetarian. In a previous interview, she expressed her commitment to this lifestyle, stating, "If you take food, I am forever a vegetarian. I can't see when a life dies. I can't hurt another person and think that it is okay, they deserve it."
