Currently, I am feeling this sense of responsibility, as I am in the 62nd year of my career… consider his sense of existence. I am immensely grateful to God that such a moment has come into my life, into my family’s life. Now I am going to achieve many more milestones. ”

Beside him stood his wife, acclaimed actress Supriya Pilgaonkar, who shared in the moment of pride. “As a wife, I am feeling incredibly happy and honored,” she expressed, her emotions evident as she celebrated the acknowledgment of her husband’s lifelong dedication.

The event, organized by the Master Deenanath Mangeshkar Smruti Pratishthan, has served as an annual tribute to India’s cultural icons for more than 35 years. Put together by the Mangeshkar family, the ceremony honors the lasting legacy of Pandit Deenanath Mangeshkar and now also acts as a tribute to the legendary Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar.
