The recent attack on Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan at his Bandra residence left the industry in shock. Following the incident, the actor was admitted to Lilavati Hospital for surgery and was discharged last week. On Saturday, Saif's sister, Saba Ali Khan, took to her Instagram Stories to share that she was feeling 'relaxed' after a hectic week and wished Saif a 'speedy recovery' surrounded by family.

Saba took to her Instagram Stories to share a selfie, captioning it, "Relaxed... after a long week! I'm so moved by the kind concern from so many people who reached out to check on me from all over the world. Wishing bhai a speedy recovery, and sending love and strength to the family with their support. Feeling blessed and grateful. Thank you."

She also wished Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Khemmu on their 10th wedding anniversary in her Instagram Stories.

Saif was discharged from Lilavati Hospital on Tuesday afternoon after spending five days there. Doctors at the hospital revealed that he was leaking spinal fluid upon his arrival and had to undergo a five-hour surgery. A piece of the knife was successfully removed from his body, and he was placed in the ICU post-surgery.

Earlier, Kareena Kapoor took to Instagram, requesting privacy during this challenging time, stating, “It has been an incredibly difficult day for our family, and we are still processing the events that have unfolded. As we navigate through this, I respectfully ask that the media and paparazzi refrain from relentless speculation and coverage."

The intruder has been apprehended by the Mumbai Police and is currently in custody. To enhance security, several CCTV cameras and additional measures have been installed at Saif's residence following the attack.
