Acclaimed director Ram Gopal Varma's latest film, 'Saaree,' stars Sathya Yadu and Aradhya Devi in the principal roles. This psychological thriller is helmed by Giri Krishna Kamal and produced by the well-known businessman Ravishankar Varma under the RGV, AARVI Productions LLP banner. 'Saaree' is set to be released on April 4th across India in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam languages. A grand trailer launch event for 'Saaree' took place today in Hyderabad.

During the event, Director Ram Gopal Varma remarked that direct communication fosters a stronger connection between individuals. In contrast, interactions through social media platforms like WhatsApp can lead to a false sense of intimacy, prompting individuals to share personal information more readily. This closeness can result in heightened fears and psychological complexities. The film 'Saaree' explores this theme, addressing a serious subject matter. Varma, who penned the original story, praised Giri Krishna Kamal's direction and expressed his admiration for Aradhya's performance, which he discovered through a reel showcasing her in a saree. He also commended Sathya for his impressive acting skills. While Varma does not claim that the film conveys a specific message, he believes it will encourage young women to exercise greater caution. He emphasized that politics and cinema are distinct realms and expressed confidence that there would be no issues regarding the film's release in Andhra Pradesh, asserting that all legal protocols would be adhered to. He noted that the arrest of Posani would not impede the release of his films. Varma criticized the current misuse of social media, which was originally intended to connect people but has devolved into a platform for conflict and abuse. He highlighted the need for actors to be informed about the legalities surrounding promotions, stating that sudden actions are inappropriate.

Director Giri Krishna Kamal expressed his gratitude to RGV for the opportunity to helm 'Saaree'. He aimed to showcase his directorial capabilities through this film. After filming a segment, he presented it to RGV, who responded positively. The project features two remarkable actors, Sathya Yadu and Aradhya. Initially uncertain about Aradhya's performance, having only viewed her reels, he was pleasantly surprised by her outstanding portrayal. Sathya faced the challenge of performing several scenes solo, yet he excelled in those moments. Their impressive performances alleviated some of the pressure on him as a director.

Actress Aradhya Devi shared her appreciation for Ram Gopal Varma for the chance to act in 'Saaree', describing it as a dream project. She noted that Director Krishna Kamal provided her with the creative freedom necessary to embody her character. The experience felt akin to a workshop for her. She praised her co-star Sathya Yadu, highlighting the joy of collaborating with him. Aradhya expressed confidence that audiences would enjoy the trailer of 'Saaree' and encouraged everyone to support the film by watching it in theaters on April 4th.

Actor Sathya Yadu recounted how he landed a role in 'Saaree' through an audition. He felt elated when RGV personally reached out to him after his selection.
