Tansener Tanpura actress Rupsa Chatterjee got married on October 4. In a month, she shared the good news that she was expecting her first child. On Thursday, she shared the news with her husband Sayandeep Sarkar by her side and a blue and pink cake in her hand.  

In an interview with Anandabazar Online, Rupsa revealed that she came to know about her pregnancy a few days before her marriage. Sayandeep was in the office at that time. Rupsa could not feel anything when she came to know this. “The wedding preparations were going on at my place. I was alone at my place. At Sayandeep’s place, he was supervising everything single-handedly. Then we got married. After the honeymoon, I felt that a new sensation was at work for me. Yes, we were going to be parents.”  

Some trolls criticised them for the news. Rupsa said, “Yes, I saw some comments. Some are saying that we are giving a hard contest to Kanchan Mullick. I would say to them that we will take care of our kids and they need not worry about it. Our well-wishers replied to the trolls. Our families are happy that we could make such a decision at a young age.” A few days back, Kanchan became a father for the second time and was much trolled for this. The same incident was mentioned in the news of Rupsa getting pregnant, she said. Both she and her husband are under thirty. They are being parents and their families are protecting them, Rupsa said. Sayandeep is also with her. Hence, Rupsa does not care about trolls and is rather waiting for the moment to give birth to her child.
