Kim Seok-jin revealed that he has studied from the same university as My Demon actor Song Kang. The BTS member made the revelation on the latest episode of his show, Run Jin. The hyung of the K-pop band went farming with a bunch of law students to pick up peppers, which is when the hilarious episode (including them addressing Jin as Mister) unfolded. Here’s what exactly happened…

Jin graduated from the same university as My Demon actor Song Kang

After picking the peppers, Jin and the law students sat together to sort their treasure out. The students started talking about Jin majoring in theatre and film. Another student named the university that Jin majored from. That is when the first law student, who is also the leader of the group, asked Jin who is a famous celebrity from the university. To that, Jin started thinking hard about who else is famous and then named My Demon actor Song Kang. On hearing Kang's name, the students said 'wow' in sync. Jin being Jin, he asked the students why didn't they say wow to him upon knowing he also studied in the University. The leader could not stop laughing after hearing the BTS member's question. Jin then went on to add that he has never met Kang in person. The students got disappointed, and Jin again asked why are they feeling that way while smirking.

Seokjin’s connection with the venue of the Run Jin episode

Jin, who completed his military service from Yeoncheon, even visited his juniors in the place just three days back. Jin came to cheer them up and eat with them (he bought them a meal) as his juniors work hard in the military.

At the beginning of the episode though, Jin said that he swore he would never look at the village again after discharge from military.

Jin further impressed everyone around by remembering what two crew members who joined them for lunch do. They are a part of the lights team.

Jin flustered as he couldn’t recognize himself

Another hilarious moment on the show ensued as Kim Seokjin failed to recognize himself. The members were all playing a game in which three photos were merged and they had to guess who are the faces behind the merged photo. Jin's friend and a member from the production team recognized the other two faces instantly but took the wrong names and thus, the other team won. Furious Jin kept looking at his friend, which is when it was revealed that he too was in the photo. Jin called out his friend again for not recognizing him despite looking at him everyday and the friend went on to state how Jin looks at himself in the mirror more than anyone. That is one argument that even Jin didn't have a counter-argument for.

When asked about how he feels as a superstar, Jin simply said he's used to living like that. He explained how you get used to being in the university after passing out from school, and similarly, he is now used to creating content and making music.
