The actress took to the stage to discuss the film and express her gratitude to the team for allowing her to be part of the project. At the conclusion of her speech, she caught everyone off guard by stating, “I have one more matter to address. How many women are present in the audience? Please raise your hands.”
As the women raised their hands, she continued, “You may take photos at any time, but would you do so if you felt uncomfortable? If someone were taking intrusive photos of you, would you accept it? No, right?” She then inquired if everyone had noticed what transpired during the group photo session.
Rukshar disclosed that she had requested someone not to photograph her, yet they persisted, stating, “I’ve attempted to convey this with kindness and respect, asking you not to take my picture. Is that appropriate or inappropriate? I will refrain from naming anyone, but I believe this message has reached its intended recipient; that is sufficient.”
She also directed a stern look at an individual in the audience while making this statement, prompting speculation online that she was referring to a reporter known for sharing images of female actors from press events on his social media. However, the actress did not specify whom she was addressing.
