There have been speculations and rumours in the Bengali entertainment industry that Rubel Das and Sweta Bhattacharya might get married at the beginning of 2025. The couple kept mum on that issue. But a photo of Rubel came out that triggered the ongoing speculations. His fans added things up and concluded that the actor and actress will surely tie the knot soon. 

Bengali’s traditional feast of Jamai Shashti – dedicated to the sons-in-law – was last Wednesday. Sweta’s mother arranged different dishes and made an elaborate spread. Rubel posted the photo and wrote, “Having the Jamai Shasti food before marriage is a different fun.” Sweta sent love to Rubel under the photo. 

Last year in July, Rubel met with a major accident on the set of the TV serial Neem Phuler Modhu. While trying to board a bus, he stumbled and fell. It was later discovered that he had fractured his ankle due to the incident.

Rubel hails from Barasat, North 24 pgs. He used to dance before becoming an actor. He worked as a dancer and a choreographer. He started his film journey with the film Beporoya. Then he worked in the serial Bhanumatir Khel. Now he is playing Srijan in Neem Phuler Modhu. Sweta plays Shyamali in Kon Gopone Mon Bheseche. These two are Zee Bangla serials. Both the serials stream on Zee5 and one can also watch them on OTTplay Premium.

Sweta and Rubel now want to take their relationship to the next stage. It is heard that they will tie the knot at the beginning of 2025.
