Hina Khan has been quite vocal about her cancer journey with her fans on social media. However, in a recent interview with News18, Rozlyn Khan, who herself is a stage 4 cancer survivor, has accused Hina of spreading misinformation and using her cancer treatment as a publicity stunt.

Rozlyn says Hina is exaggerating

Rozlyn questioned Hina Khan for not giving details about her surgery and exaggerating about it. She said, "15 hours of mastectomy is impossible. She is exaggerating it. My surgery was 8 to 10 hours long because I was at stage four, and my 16 lymph nodes were removed. It was a major surgery. In fact, she (Hina Khan) only said her surgery went for 15 hours. Which surgery is she talking about? She did not give details if it was MRM or what?"

Rozlyn accuses Hina of using her cancer treatment as publicity stunt

Rozlyn Khan expressed her concerns regarding Hina Khan's global travels, asserting that cancer patients are generally advised to avoid crowds during their chemotherapy treatments. She remarked that such actions could potentially endanger patients who might emulate her behavior. Additionally, Rozlyn accused Hina of leveraging her cancer diagnosis for publicity, stating, "She focuses on herself rather than discussing the treatments she is undergoing. There is a lack of transparency in her situation. I question whether she is truly at stage 3. In every interview or statement she makes, the emphasis is solely on her own experiences and courage. There is no regulatory framework in India to address the dissemination of misinformation regarding medical procedures or treatments, leading to potential exploitation of the situation."

Rozlyn Khan is an actor and model who has survived stage 4 cancer. In 2024, Hina Khan disclosed her battle with cancer and has since been candidly sharing her experiences and updates about her condition on social media platforms.
