Singer Rohanpreet Singh has come to the support of his wife, Neha Kakkar, following her experience with an unwelcoming audience in Melbourne. The crowd expressed their discontent by booing Neha for her three-hour delay in starting the concert. In light of this, Rohanpreet wrote a message encouraging people to refrain from making hasty judgments without understanding the complete context.

He also conveyed his pride in Neha and her team for overcoming the obstacles and successfully delivering their performance.

Rohanpreet Singh supports Neha amid concert backlash

Rohanpreet took to Instagram to remind fans to avoid passing judgment and to recognize the reality of the circumstances. He shared his message in Punjabi.

He stated, “I wish to express my thoughts with humility. Until we are fully aware of the reality or both perspectives, we should refrain from judging anyone. This principle should be applied in all aspects of our lives."

He further added in English, “I have immense respect for my wife and her band, who took the stage despite facing numerous challenges and chaos." He included a folded-hands emoji in the caption of the photo. Neha’s brother, singer Tony Kakkar, responded to the post, saying, “Absolutely right bro.”

Yesterday, Neha took to Instagram to address the recent concert incident.

She stated, “They claimed I arrived three hours late, but did anyone bother to ask what happened to me or my band? When I spoke on stage, I refrained from sharing our ordeal because I didn't want to harm anyone; after all, who am I to punish others? However, since my name is now involved, I felt compelled to speak out. Did you know that I performed entirely free of charge for my audience in Melbourne? The organizers absconded with my payment and that of others. My band was not provided with food, accommodation, or even water. My husband and his friends had to step in to provide meals. Despite all this, we still took the stage and performed without any rest because my fans had been waiting for hours.

Neha continued, “Are you aware that our sound check was delayed for hours because the sound vendor had not been paid and refused to set up? When we finally began our sound check, I was unable to reach the venue and missed it entirely. We were uncertain if the concert would even take place, as the organizers stopped answering my manager's calls, apparently trying to evade the sponsors and others. There is still much more to discuss, but I believe this is sufficient for now.”

Earlier this week, a video surfaced depicting Neha Kakkar in tears on stage as she apologized profusely to her fans after reportedly arriving three hours late for her concert in Melbourne, Australia. The footage, shared on Reddit by a user, shows the singer visibly upset while some audience members expressed their discontent by booing her for the delay.

In the video, Neha expresses her remorse, stating, “You have been really sweet and patient; you have been waiting for so long. I hate it. I have never made anyone wait in my entire life.”

She continued, “You have been waiting for so long. I am truly sorry. You mean the world to me. You are all so sweet. I was very worried about what would happen. This evening means a lot to me, and I will always remember it. I promise that for all of you who have taken the time to come here, I will make sure you all dance.” 

As some audience members shouted "go back" !at Kakkar, she took the microphone to address them directly. Following the video's release, social media erupted with criticism, with many users quick to voice their disapproval.
