Bollywood actress Genelia Deshmukh is celebrating her 37th birthday today (August 5). She is being showered with love and good wishes from her fans, friends, and family members. The actress' husband Rtieish Deshmukh, too, dedicated a special birthday post to her. While Riteish penned an adorable note for Genalia, he shared a goofy video to mark his wife's special day. The video highlights a husband's love for his wife before and after marriage.

Riteish Deshmukh shared the hilarious video with Genelia on his Instagram handle. While sharing the clip, the actor penned a birthday note for his beloved partner. "Happy Birthday Baiko geneliad - you have truly changed my life (sic)," he wrote. And soon, the actress left a comment that read, "I intend to keep changing your life too riteishd (sic)." For the uninitiated, Riteish and Genelia have been married for 12 years now. After being in a relationship for a few years, the couple tied the knot on February 3, 2012. Two years after their marriage, the duo welcomed their first son Riaan in 2014. They were blessed with their second son, Rahyl, in 2016.

Riteish and Genelia made their Bollywood debut with the 2003 romantic drama film, Tujhe Meri Kasam. Their last theatrical release was the Marathi film Ved in 2022. It earned critical as well as commercial success.

After she got married to Riteish, Genelia took a step back from her acting career. The actress, best known for her role in Jaane Tu...Ya Jaane Na, took a 10-year break from movies. However, she made her acting comeback. Up next, Genelia will be seen with Aamir Khan in his upcoming film Sitaare Zameen Par. It is expected to release this year but no official release date has been announced.
