After Fatafati, Ritabhari Chakraborty teamed up with Abir Chatterjee for Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy’s expected Puja release, Bohurupee. After days of discomfort during shooting, Ritabhari Chakraborty underwent surgery to remove her gallbladder stone. She recently came back from hospital. But she again got sick. Her hobby of building miniatures is behind her sickness.
The doctors advised Ritabhari to rest for a long time. But Ritabhari did not fully obey the instructions. She started building miniatures right after returning from the hospital, and that created problems.
Ritabhari said, “It takes a lot of effort to build miniatures. It is stressful. I started building it before being hospitalised. Just after coming back home, I started working on it. It was two days of sheer stress. Then again my health deteriorated.”
It was heard that Ritabhari had been suffering for the last month. In the shooting of Bohurupee, directed by Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee, she became ill more than once. There were symptoms of dizziness and nausea. She managed to complete the shooting. On June 26, she spent her birthday with the kids of her school, Ideal School. Right now, Ritabhari puts all her work at bay and is under rest.
Shiboprosad and Nandita’s Bohurupee is said to be a real-life heist story that took place in Bengal. Abir plays a cop who busted the robbers. The team shot the film for days and now the postproduction is on. Shiboprosad, who has also worked in the movie, met with an accident while shooting and suffered a back injury. He got back to work after recovery.
