Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha received mixed reactions from netizens. But did you know Rhea Chakraborty auditioned for the film? In a new episode of her show, Chapter 2, Rhea revealed the same and also shared the message she received from Aamir after the actress could not go through the audition.

Rhea Chakraborty shares Aamir Khan's message

Aamir Khan graced the new episode of Rhea Chakraborty's new show, Chapter 2. During the conversation, Aamir shared that they first met during the screen test for Laal Singh Chaddha, for which Rhea auditioned a few years ago. Even though she did not get that part, Khan had sent her a message saying that she gave a good audition.

Rhea shared she found Aamir's message very surprising because she has auditioned for thousands of films but it has never happened a producer, director or actor messaged you. She revealed that message of Aamir, ‘Sorry, your audition was great, but the fact is we could not go with you.’ But you had done it and I was really, really shocked. I showed that message to mom, dad, everyone and said, ‘See, I am a good actor. Aamir Khan is saying I'm a good actor.’”

'I know that feeling,' says Aamir Khan

Reacting to it, Khan said that he can understand the feeling of a struggling actor because when he was new to the industry the actor used to give a lot of auditions and get rejected everywhere. "So I feel if I have not got that role, I should at least be told that I have not got that role. Otherwise, I'd be waiting and wondering whether I will get it or not. Then I would find out from the media that someone else has been cast," he shared.

More about Laal Singh Chaddha
