On Sunday, the creators of Sikandar unveiled an action-filled trailer featuring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna. While some viewers were captivated, others voiced their dissatisfaction regarding Rashmika's lip-syncing and the on-screen chemistry between her and Salman.

A Reddit user posted the trailer for Salman Khan's Sikandar, expressing their thoughts with the caption, "I would prefer if we could steer clear of the Ghajini vibes. They feel a bit too intense for my taste!" Reddit users quickly chimed in with their critiques, particularly targeting Rashmika's lip-syncing to the song Lag Jaa Gale featured in the trailer.

Reddit criticises Salman-Rashmika's chemistry

Criticism of Salman and Rashmika's chemistry was prevalent. One comment noted, "It resembles a father-daughter outing. They don’t seem to have any chemistry at all." Another remarked, "It feels like a dad and daughter spending quality time." A third user stated, "There is absolutely no chemistry! They didn’t even attempt to create any!"

Rashmika trolled for her lip Sync

Rashmika faced backlash for her lip-syncing skills. One user commented, "Rashmika struggles with something as fundamental as lip-syncing." Another added, "Is it just me, or does the singing dub combined with Rashmika’s acting not mesh well at all?" A further comment read, "Rashmika, how can you be so poor at something as simple as lip-syncing?" Another user remarked, "Rashmika's lip-syncing and expressions detracted from this segment."

Additionally, some viewers expressed their discontent with the action sequences. One user stated, "The action appears poorly choreographed, and the storyline doesn’t seem engaging… I’ll be passing on this one. It looks like Rashmika's streak will be broken." Another commented, "The action scenes are quite disappointing."

At the trailer launch event, Salman commented on the 31-year age difference between himself and Rashmika, stating, "People point out the 31-year gap between the heroine and me. However, if the heroine is comfortable with it and her father has no objections, why should you be concerned, my friend? When she eventually marries and has a daughter, I will also collaborate with her daughter. Her mother will surely give her consent."
