Shraddha Kapoor has consistently been open about posting images from her outings with her alleged boyfriend, Rahul Mody, despite not officially acknowledging their relationship. During a recent event, when questioned about the status of her dating life, the actress responded assertively.

Shraddha responds to journalist

A video has circulated on Reddit featuring Shraddha during a recent event. The reporter informed Shraddha that when he inquired of her co-star Kartik Aaryan about which of four female actors he would prefer to date, Kartik responded that all of them were already in relationships. The journalist then asked, “He spilt the beans, is he correct?”

With a bemused expression, Shraddha turned to the audience and remarked, “Have we truly come to Agenda Aaj Tak (chuckles)?” Upon the journalist's clarification that it was Kartik who disclosed this information, Shraddha replied, “Alright, so he said what he needed to say. So, do you have a question for me?”

When the journalist tentatively asked if she was in a relationship, Shraddha reiterated, “Are we definitely at Agenda Aaj Tak? Definitely? Definitely?” The journalist confirmed, “This is indeed the agenda for today,” to which she responded, “Definitely? Okay,” appearing somewhat annoyed.

Reddit lauds Shraddha

Several users on Reddit came to Shraddha's defence. One individual remarked, “Wow!! What a way to pressure someone! It is acceptable to inquire, but if she chooses not to respond, why persist?” Another user commented, “This is a classic example of media tactics for ratings; then they claim celebrities mistreat the press.”

“She managed the situation admirably,” noted another commenter. “This exemplifies casual misogyny at its finest. When heroines are present, the question is about their boyfriends. When heroes appear, they are asked about their acting careers,” highlighted a user.

Rumours regarding the relationship between Shraddha Kapoor and Rahul Mody initially emerged when the two were spotted together at various public events, including a wedding.

Rahul Mody, a screenwriter and assistant director, is recognized for his contributions to the successful film Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, which features Shraddha alongside Ranbir Kapoor. Nevertheless, despite the ongoing speculation, neither Shraddha nor Rahul has officially acknowledged the specifics of their relationship.

On the professional front, Shraddha was most recently seen in Stree 2, which achieved significant success, becoming one of the highest-grossing films in Hindi cinema in India.
