Recently, actress Raveena Tandon appeared on the set of "Indian Idol 15," where she shared a surprising story related to the song.

The grand finale of "Indian Idol" season 15 is set to take place this weekend, with Raveena making a special appearance alongside other Bollywood stars. In a promotional video shared by Sony TV on Instagram, the actress is seen conversing with judges Shreya Ghoshal, Vishal Dadlani, and Badshah, recounting an intriguing incident about the song. Raveena revealed that she was unaware of the song's inclusion in the film and recounted receiving an unusual call from Karan Johar.

What happened when Karan called Raveena

Regarding Karan's call to Raveena Tandon, she stated, "Honestly, I had no idea this was going to happen. Karan called me, and we were already big fans of Badshah. I used to enjoy all his raps; they were fantastic. Karan asked for my permission to use my name in the song, and I thought, ‘How sweet! Of course, go ahead.’ However, he then mentioned, ‘What will Anil Thadani (Raveena’s husband) think? Is he going to be upset? You should check with Anil first to see if it’s right to use your name.’"

The actress concluded that her husband's opinion was irrelevant, as she could never refuse a song by Badshah.

Indian Idol 15 finale details

In a separate segment from the forthcoming show, Raveena is captured dancing to her popular song "Kabhi Tu Chhalia Lagta Hai," featured in the 1991 movie Patthar Ke Phool," which starred Salman Khan. The finale of Indian Idol 15 is set to be broadcast on April 5 and April 6 on Sony TV.
