Riding the wave of success from hits like Pushpa, Pushpa 2, Animal, and Chhaava, actress Rashmika Mandanna was all about the praise at the Sikandar trailer launch in Mumbai. Joined by Salman Khan, A.R. Murugadoss, Sajid Nadiadwala, Sathyaraj, Anjini Dhawan, and other cast and crew members, Rashmika chatted with the media about her journey in the film world and the upcoming thriller, Sikandar.

When asked if box-office success was a top priority for her, Rashmika responded with humility. “Hitting 500 crores isn’t something we can control. It’s all thanks to the amazing directors and actors I get to work with. They deserve all the credit. If I had any say in it, my career would look completely different,” she admitted. She highlighted the significance of collaboration, saying, “It’s the brilliant vision of the directors, the storytelling, the editing, and the whole team’s effort that leads to success.”

Rashmika’s enthusiasm was evident as she talked about Sikandar, stating, “Today, we’re here for Sikandar. You’ve all seen the trailer, and I’m really looking forward to you watching the film. I hope you enjoy it. Getting to work with Salman Khan—what could be better?”

She also shared her admiration for director A.R. Murugadoss, saying, “A.R. Murugadoss is someone I’ve always wanted to collaborate with. I stepped into the industry eight years ago, but I had been following his work long before that. It’s truly an honor to work alongside him.”

Rashmika fondly reminisced about her initial chat with producer Sajid Nadiadwala: “I remember when he reached out to me and said, ‘I know we’ve been wanting to collaborate, and I have an amazing script for you,’ and that’s how everything began. It’s really a privilege.”

The film Sikandar, directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, features a star-studded cast including Salman Khan, Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi, and Prateik Babbar. This much-anticipated movie is set to hit theaters worldwide on March 30, 2025, in both standard and IMAX formats, aligning with Eid al-Fitr.
