Lil Uzi Vert, whose real name is Symere Bysil Woods, was taken to the hospital in New York City on Monday afternoon, according to TMZ. The 29-year-old was seen being rolled through a hotel lobby on a stretcher around 2:30 pm before being transported to the hospital in an ambulance.

Paramedics rushed to a hotel in Lower Manhattan after getting a call about someone feeling unwell. Witnesses saw Vert being loaded into an ambulance and taken to a hospital. A video captured security using black umbrellas to shield the scene. The Just Wanna Rock artist was awake during the transfer but was admitted to the emergency room. It's not clear what happened, but he spent the night there and was still hospitalized as of Tuesday morning.

Throughout this scare, Vert's girlfriend, JT, was right there with him. The City Girls member, whose real name is Jatavia Shakara Johnson, has been linked to the Watch This rapper since 2019, although they kept their relationship under wraps until 2021. Despite facing rumors about a breakup, they remain strong together. When asked about their relationship on The Breakfast Club in 2020, JT laughed off the breakup rumors, saying, “I did not….I didn’t break up with nobody.” In a 2023 chat on Angie Martinez's IRL Podcast, she praised Vert, saying, “He’s a great man. No matter how the internet tries to paint Uzi. Uzi is a great man! He’s so inspiring. No matter what he’s going through, he’s going to work.”
