YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia recently became embroiled in controversy following his comments on Samay Raina's show, India's Got Latent. After a hiatus of nearly two months, he released his first video on his YouTube channel on Sunday, where he expressed gratitude to his supporters and offered an apology for his previous statements. He also committed to producing content with greater responsibility moving forward.

In this video, Allahbadia reflected on his challenging experience and stated, “Thank you to all my supporters and well-wishers. Your encouraging messages have greatly assisted me and my family during this incredibly tough time. We faced open threats, a significant amount of social media animosity, and numerous media articles. It was a lot to handle, but your direct messages provided us with substantial support.”

He continued, “In the low points of life, you come to understand that success is not the only companion; you must also confront failure. Many people regard me as their son, and many see me as their brother, and to them, I sincerely apologize.”

He assured his audience, “I pledge that for the next 20 to 30 years, I will create content with a heightened sense of responsibility. I have come to realize the immense responsibility I carry. The fact that you all view me as part of your family is my greatest obligation. If possible, I hope you can find it in your hearts to welcome me back.”

Ranveer expressed his gratitude towards his team and crew members for their unwavering support, noting that not a single individual from his 300-member crew chose to resign during his challenging times. He also acknowledged the actors, athletes, and other distinguished figures who had previously appeared on his show, thanking them for their encouragement.

He encouraged the public to join him on his new venture, stating, “I have a deep passion for podcasting and content creation. Exploring our nation's history and culture is what drives me, and I am pursuing this through my work... My love for our country's culture is profound, and I am now endeavoring to craft a new narrative after this period. I hope you will support me and my team in this journey.”

Additionally, he mentioned that meditation and prayer played a crucial role in his recovery during a time of declining mental health. He reflected on this experience, realizing that true companionship comes from God. He humorously remarked that he does not view this phase as a punishment but rather as an opportunity for personal and professional growth.

Ranveer faced criticism for his remarks regarding parents and sexuality during Samay Raina’s show, India’s Got Latent. Despite issuing an apology, he received multiple complaints against him. Consequently, he was prohibited from creating online content or posting videos. The Supreme Court labeled his comments as “vulgar” and criticized him for having a “dirty mind” that brought shame to society. However, the court has recently permitted him to continue his podcast, with the stipulation that he must avoid discussing the case in his videos.
