A Threads user posted a video on social media that captured Alia and Ranbir heading to an event. In the clip, a fan got a bit too close and grabbed Alia's hand, asking for a selfie. Alia tried to gently pull away but stayed composed, just waving as she walked alongside her husband. Meanwhile, Ranbir chatted with the fan, which made them let go of Alia's hand, and he pulled her in closer.

Right after the video went viral, social media lit up with criticism of the fan's actions. One user commented, "People have no manners." Another added, "People need to learn how to act. Alia is a celebrity, but she's also a person, and she's not anyone's possession. If it were someone else, would they have dared to grab their hand? Alia still managed to smile, which shows her class."

Ranbir and Alia have some exciting new projects on the horizon

Ranbir is gearing up to take on the role of Lord Rama in Nitesh Tiwari's upcoming film, Ramayana. The movie features a stellar cast including Sai Pallavi, Sunny Deol, Yash, and Ravi Dubey, and it's set to hit theaters in two parts, with the first part expected to drop in 2026.
