In 2022, during an interview with Mashable India, Ranbir was inquired about his most unusual fan encounter. Reflecting on his early career, he remarked, "I wouldn't label it as the craziest, since that term often carries a negative connotation. However, I recall a particular incident from my early days involving a girl I had never met. My watchman informed me that she came with a priest and conducted a marriage ceremony at my gate," he shared with a chuckle.

"At the bungalow where I resided with my parents, there were ceremonial markings on the gate and some flowers. I believe I was out of town at that time, which made it quite an extraordinary event. I have yet to meet my first 'wife,' so I look forward to that encounter in the future," he continued.

Ranbir and Alia started dating on the sets of Brahmastra: Part One and married in April 2022. The couple are parents to their beautiful daughter Raha, who turned 2 last year in November.
