During this event, the actor spoke publicly about Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana for the first time, commending the film’s producer, Namit Malhotra, for his unwavering commitment and enthusiasm towards the project. He noted that Malhotra has assembled an exceptional team of artists and creative talents for the film.

Additionally, the actor revealed that he has completed filming the first instalment of the two-part series. He described the experience of portraying Lord Ram as a dream come true. He stated, “The film consists of two parts. I have finished shooting Part 1 and will begin Part 2 shortly. Being part of this narrative is a humbling experience for me. It’s a dream role. The film encompasses everything, illustrating the essence of Indian culture—family relationships and the dynamics between husband and wife.”
In the meantime, Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana Part 1 is set to premiere in theatres on Diwali 2026, with the second part scheduled for release a year later on Diwali 2027. In addition to Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi as Sita, reports indicate that the cast will also feature Yash as Ravana and Ravie Dubey as Lakshman.
