International star Ram Charan has collaborated with the esteemed director Shankar for the highly anticipated pan-India film "Game Changer." The movie is scheduled for a spectacular release on January 10. In preparation for the theatrical debut, the team conducted a press conference in Mumbai today. The event was attended by the film's lead actor Ram Charan, producer Dil Raju, Anil Thadani from AA Films, and actor SJ Suryah.

At the event, Ram Charan remarked that Shankar had adapted the film 3 Idiots into the Tamil version titled Nanban. He recalled being the chief guest at the audio launch for the Telugu adaptation of that film. On that occasion, he expressed a desire for Shankar to direct a Telugu film in the future, although he did not convey this wish directly to him. Years later, while filming for RRR, he received a call from Dil Raju, who informed him that Shankar was interested in collaborating with him. Initially sceptical, Ram Charan was soon convinced and promptly reached out to Shankar. He acknowledged that they had all grown up admiring Shankar's films, noting Rajamouli's recent comment that Shankar epitomizes commercial cinema. He highlighted Shankar's role in defining grand cinema and being the first pan-Indian director. Ram Charan expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to work with both Shankar and Rajamouli within a five-year span, emphasizing that both directors are demanding and expect a high level of performance from their actors. They provide ample opportunities for actors to excel, maintaining a rigorous pace that leaves no room for complacency. Ram Charan noted Shankar's meticulous nature, recalling an instance where Shankar identified a 5% discrepancy in his hairstyle. He also described SJ Suryah as one of the most dynamic actors and individuals he has encountered.

Producer Dil Raju remarked, "This marks my 50th film, and I aimed to create something extraordinary for this project. From the moment I encountered the script, I resolved to elevate it to a grand scale. Additionally, with Ram Charan achieving global stardom following RRR, we were determined not to settle for anything less. I aspired to make Game Changer a remarkable endeavour. While many were promoting their films across India, I chose to take our efforts to America, culminating in an event held in Dallas. This occasion was a resounding success, attracting over 12,000 attendees. The film features five songs, for which we allocated Rs. 75 crore. Each song was meticulously filmed over a span of 10 to 12 days. Shankar sir personally oversees the choreography and is known for his meticulous attention to detail. The song 'Jaragandi' was filmed over 10 days in Hyderabad, while 'Naanaa Hyraanaa' was an experimental piece shot in New Zealand, also over a duration of 10 days. 'Ra Macha Macha' was filmed in Amritsar, taking another 10 days."

Anil Thadani, who is releasing the film's Hindi version, said, "I am really thanking Dil Raju Garu for letting me be a part of his special 50th film. He has been the backbone of this massive film. I have worked with Shankar sir before, and he is known for his larger-than-life films. Hopefully, this turns out to be as successful as the previous films I worked on. SJ Suryah has got a massive fan following, and I have seen his skills; he is amazing. Coming to Ram Charan, being such a massive star, he is a great human being. It is always a pleasure to work with him. I hope the film is going to be the best for everyone involved."

Actor SJ Suryah said, "Wishing you a very Happy New Year. I hope this year, God will bless us with hits in every language. I hope that the success streak will start with Game Changer. I dubbed myself in the Hindi version. I hope you like it. I got this offer from Shankar sir to work with a big star like Ram Charan Garu. Ram Charan Garu's performance as Ram Nandan and Appanna will enthral you. I'm not exaggerating, but the Appanna character, which comes in the flashback, will stay in your heart. I watched Jaragandi for the first time, and I got high with those visuals. I loved it, and people will love it for sure. The film is coming on January 10. The movie is all about the war between a crooked politician and an honest IAS officer. It will entertain you for sure. What Pawan Kalyan Garu has been doing on-field is what Ram Charan does in this movie. Everyone did a good job, including me (smiles). Game Changer is going to be a real game-changer. I hope you will enjoy it all."

Game Changer features a stellar cast, including Kiara Advani, Anjali, Srikanth, Samuthirakani, Jayaram, Sunil, and Naveen Chandra. Thaman composed the music for it. Dil Raju and Sirish bankrolled the film under the banners of Sri Venkateswara Creations, Dil Raju Productions, and Zee Studios. SVC and Adityaram Movies produced the film in Tamil. AA Films' Anil Thadani is releasing it in Hindi.
