Rajpal Yadav experienced the loss of his father, Naurang Yadav, on Friday. Following this tragic event, the actor promptly travelled from Thailand to Delhi, having learned of his father's admission to AIIMS just a day prior.

On Friday, Rajpal took to his Instagram account to share a heartfelt image of himself smiling while embracing his father. In the accompanying caption, he expressed, “Friends, today, my source of energy, my strength, and the warrior of my life, my esteemed father, is no longer with us. However, his blessings and the inspiration I have drawn from him will always remain by our side. I love you all, and I am deeply grateful for your blessings!”

Rajpal gets death threat

The passing of Rajpal's father occurred shortly after the actor received death threats originating from Pakistan. The Mumbai police initiated an investigation following the receipt of threatening emails directed at individuals within the entertainment sector, including comedian Kapil Sharma, actor Rajpal Yadav, and choreographer Remo D’Souza. An FIR was filed by the Amboli police after a threatening email was sent to actor Rajpal Yadav by an individual identified as “Vishnu” on December 14 of the previous year. The correspondence included threats against the actor, his family, and comedian Kapil Sharma, according to official sources.

The email stated, “We have been monitoring your recent activities, and we believe it is imperative that we bring a sensitive matter to your attention. This is not a publicity stunt or an attempt to harass you,” urging the recipients to “treat this message with the utmost seriousness and confidentiality.” Initial investigations indicated that the email, originating from the address 'don99284@gmail.com', was traced back to Pakistan, with police confirming that inquiries into the situation are ongoing.

Rajpal was last featured in the action thriller Baby John, directed by Kalees, released last year.
