The competition on aha Telugu Indian Idol Season 3 took a dramatic turn as Rajni Sree Poornima was eliminated in the latest episode, which aired on the Aha OTT platform this past weekend.

Since its premiere on June 14, 2024, Telugu Indian Idol Season 3 has witnessed a series of eliminations, with Rajni Sree Poornima being the third contestant to exit the show. The elimination process is determined by a combination of audience votes and judges' scores. Earlier in the season, contestants Kushal Sharma and Hari Priya were also eliminated.

In the recent elimination round, hosted by Shreeram Chandra, Rajni Sree Poornima, along with Sree Dhruti and Skanda, found themselves in the Danger Zone due to their lower scores. Skanda secured the highest votes and was declared safe first, leaving Rajni Sree Poornima and Sree Dhruti in the elimination battle. Ultimately, Rajni Sree Poornima received the fewest votes and was sent home.

Following her elimination, judge Karthik expressed his regret over her departure, encouraging her to continue her music education and promising to see her in his studio in the future. Judge Geeta Madhuri offered words of encouragement, urging her to stay motivated and continue her musical journey.

Judge S Thaman conveyed his desire to work with Rajni Sree Poornima in the future, stating that he would keep her in mind for potential opportunities if a song suited her voice. "You all are very close to our hearts and ears. Be stronger and keep striving," he said.

Special guest judge Drums Sivamani hailed Rajni Sree Purnima's potential, saying, "You have a bright future."

The emotional departure saw heartfelt farewells from fellow contestants. With Rajni Sree Poornima's exit, the competition heats up, leaving nine contestants contending for the top spot. The show will continue to feature weekly eliminations based on public voting and judges' scores, with the possibility of wild card entires adding an extra layer of excitement.

Viewers are encouraged to vote through the Aha app or by calling the designated numbers for each contestant. Voting lines open from Friday at 7 p.m. until Sunday at 7 a.m.
