Akshay Kumar is presently engaged in promoting his forthcoming film, Sky Force, which also marks the Bollywood debut of Veer Pahariya. The film, directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Kapur, features prominent actors Nimrat Kaur and Sara Ali Khan in significant roles. On January 21, prior to its release, the producers organized a special screening in Delhi for Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and other distinguished guests. The narrative of Sky Force centers around the attack on Pakistan's Sargodha airbase during the Indo-Pakistani air war of 1965, which was India's inaugural airstrike. Following the screening, the minister expressed his views on social media.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh commended the Sky Force team in a note. He shared images from the screening on his X (formerly Twitter) account, where he praised the team for their dedication. The photos included Akshay Kumar, Dinesh Vijan, and Veer Pahariya. He remarked, "Joined CDS and three service chiefs at the special screening of ‘Sky Force’. The film recounts the valor, bravery, and sacrifices of the Indian Air Force during the 1965 War. I commend the filmmakers for their remarkable efforts."
In response, Akshay expressed his gratitude to the minister, describing it as an 'absolute honor.' He stated, "Thank you, Sir. It is an absolute honor for me and the Sky Force team that you, the CDS, and the three service chiefs took the time to view and endorse our film. We created it with immense gratitude and pride for the bravery of our armed forces."
Additionally, the Sky Force team arranged a special screening for NCC cadets in Delhi.
