B-town couple Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa often delight fans with their sweet social media posts. But with fame also comes public scrutiny and a lack of sensitivity. Recently, Patralekhaa has shared how the pregnancy rumours have affected her and shaken up her confidence. In an interview, the actress reacted to her pregnancy rumours and expressed how they bother her. Thus, making her hesitant to converse with the paparazzi in the context of answering such questions. 

Patralekhaa on fake pregnancy buzz

Rajukummar Rao’s actress wife Patralekhaa, has recently opened up about why she feels hesitant to share her private life and communicate with the media. In an interview, the CityLights actress shared how she gets ‘bothered’ whenever fake reports on her pregnancy take a round online. She admitted how people expect her to be pregnant after seeing her ‘bloated belly’ which is common for a girl. She further explained that the only escape from such false claims is to move on and she has now stopped reading such comments on her pictures.  

“When I look bloated in my belly, I am pregnant but I am a girl and I have days which are not really happy in life. I look the way I want. Initially, I did get bothered about it and I have also stopped reading the comments. I just see my photos and I go to the next,” she shared with Gallata India.  

Rajkummar Rao and Patrelekhaa’s marriage

Bollywood’s Rajkummar Rao and Patrelekhaa are couple goals with their consistent relationship and love for each other. After dating for a decade, the couple decided to tie the knot in 2021 in a traditional wedding ceremony. Their fairytale romance which began in 2010 turned solid when they got married. From sharing cute social media posts together to posing together, Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa’s chemistry is unmissable. However, like any other star, Patralekhaa has also been affected by the constant scrutiny. In the same interview, she shared how critics find their ways to comment on her dress and appearance, which makes her hesitant to pose.  

The Wild Wild Punjab actress also highlights the challenges of dealing with comments on her appearance and clothing choices, emphasizing the need to ignore and move on from such negativity. 

“I am like, what is this? They have a problem with what you wear, what you don’t wear or whether your hair is done properly or not. I guess that is what it comes with,” Patralekhaa concluded.
