Rajkummar Rao recently attended the Radio City Mumbai Icon Awards 2025 with his wife, Patralekha, where he expressed his gratitude for the incredible support he’s received from fans over the past year. Looking back on his successful year, Rajkummar shared how thankful he is for the opportunities and encouragement from his audience. He mentioned, "It feels amazing... God has truly been generous. Last year was fantastic for me. My performance in Shrikant was met with so much love, and the film performed really well at the box office.
Then Stree 2 came along and shattered all records, receiving tons of appreciation. Following that, we had Vicky Vidya and Mr. and Mrs. Mahi. I love exploring different genres and characters, and that’s what I aim for every year—challenging roles."
He also touched on his upcoming projects, sharing his enthusiasm for his next film, Bhool Chuk Maaf. He stated, "I think everyone will really enjoy this film. It has a unique concept and is perfect for family entertainment. Bhool Chuk Maaf, featuring Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi, is directed by Karan Sharma. The film is produced by Dinesh Vijan in collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios and is scheduled to hit theaters on May 9, 2025."
