Actor Rajinikanth is awaiting the release of his Tamil film Vettaiyan, which is due to hit theatres on October 10. The film is written and directed by TJ Gnanavel. The makers of Vettaiyan held an audio launch function recently as well. Recently, Rajinikanth addressed the media and spoke about the film.

Recently, Rajinikanth was spotted at the airport and addressed the media about the film. When asked about how Vettaiyan has been shaping up, the actor said, "Vettaiyan is completed, only the audience has to watch and tell us how the film is."
Speaking about the Manasilaayo song which has been a hit among the audience, and went viral on social media, Rajinikanth thanked Anirudh Ravichander who scored the music, Dinesh who choreographed simple yet catchy steps for the song, and Deepthi Suresh who sang the song. The audio launch event took place "There were some issues with the passes, but executive producer Tamilkumaran has been taking all the efforts to make sure the film is good. My hearty wishes for them,” he added.

The post-theatrical streaming rights have been bagged by Prime Video. The Rajinikanth-starrer will be released in multiple languages, including Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada.SR Kathir ISC has cranked the camera, with production design by K Kadhir. Philomin Raj is the editor and Kiruthika has worked on the screenplay. Vettaiyan is a cop thriller drama. The makers recently released a prevue of the film. Vettaiyan will be enjoying a solo release on October 10.
