She and her dad, filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, were featured in a film magazine sharing a kiss on the lips. Recently, Pooja's brother Rahul Bhatt opened up about this ongoing controversy.

In a chat with Hindi Rush, Rahul, a fitness coach, mentioned that the family wasn't affected by the negative reactions to the photo. 'It doesn't bother us at all. It's like water off a duck's back. We know the truth... we've seen it since we were kids,' Rahul shared.

He mentioned that growing up in the industry makes kids from film families pretty much unaffected by these controversies, which applies to him and his sister. Rahul said, 'Kids from film families are either really messed up or super strong. People assume we care, but we really don’t.'

When Pooja Bhatt stood up for that pure moment

This isn't the first time the Bhatt family has talked about that infamous kiss. In 2023, during an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Pooja Bhatt described the moment as 'innocent' and criticized those who have stirred up controversy over it for years. She remarked, 'If people can view a father-daughter relationship in such a twisted way, they can do anything. And then we discuss family values. What a ridiculous joke that is.'
