Mahesh Bhatt's daughters, Pooja Bhatt and Alia Bhatt, have both established themselves in Bollywood, continuing their father's legacy. Pooja's brother Rahul Bhatt has asserted that she is the more gifted one when compared to Alia.

Rahul favors Pooja over Alia

The former Bigg Boss contestant and fitness trainer mentioned to the portal, “In my view, she is not even half of what my true sister Pooja is, not in terms of talent, not in looks, not in being attractive. Next to my sister, she is ‘paani kam chai (not as good)’. This is just my personal opinion. If you inquire, amongst all our siblings, who possesses the most talent, the most integrity, it is Pooja. Pooja is the genuine successor to carry forward my father's legacy. I witnessed her during her peak. She was the leading sex symbol of the country at that point. ”

The actor-turned fitness trainer disclosed that he has a positive relationship with Alia. He stated, “She is a mother now. She is quite successful, and one can’t simply call and say ‘I am coming to visit you’. I have never discussed that with anyone. I prefer to uphold a certain decorum. She is a wonderful mother, and she is caring for my other stepsister, Shaheen Bhatt, very well, which I respect even more. ”

Mahesh Bhatt was formerly married to Kiran Bhatt. They shared two children – Pooja Bhatt and Rahul. Later, Mahesh encountered Soni Razdan during the Saaransh shooting. They wed on April 20, 1986, and welcomed Alia and Shaheen. In an interview with Simi Garewal in 1998, Soni and Mahesh discussed the beginnings of their romance, and how they navigated challenges. When asked if she harbored any grudges towards his first family, Soni replied, “For a time, perhaps, but that faded away over the years. ” She further mentioned, “We get along extremely well now, but we’ve had our arguments. Initially, when we weren’t married, there were issues. However, once I married him, we’ve treated each other very, very well. ”
