Actor Alia Bhatt has shared insights regarding her daughter Raha's exposure to films and her enjoyment of music. During an appearance on Jay Shetty's On Purpose Podcast, Alia disclosed that Raha has developed the impression that every song includes either her mother or her father, actor Ranbir Kapoor.

Alia talks about Raha listening to music

When inquired whether Raha Kapoor has seen any films featuring Alia, she responded, "She is too young to sit through an entire movie. However, she has enjoyed several songs of mine and Ranbir's. We have also introduced her to songs by other artists. I believe she now perceives all songs as belonging to us. Just the other day, a song played that was from Shah Rukh Khan's Mohabbatein, and I found myself singing 'Aankhein Khuli'."

While I was practicing some dance moves, she inquired, "Mama, is this your song?" I responded with a "No." Then she asked, "Mama, is it papa's song?" Again, I replied, "No." I clarified, "This is a song by Shah Rukh Khan." 

Mohabbatein (2000) is a musical romantic drama film directed by Aditya Chopra. The film features Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Uday Chopra, Shamita Shetty, Jugal Hansraj, Kim Sharma, Jimmy Sheirgill, and Preeti Jhangiani.

Alia shares which of her films she wants Raha to watch

During the interview, Alia was inquired about which of her films she eagerly anticipates Raha watching. She mentioned Highway, Raazi, and Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva, while also noting that she does not possess any "child-friendly movies." The actress expressed that this situation has inspired her to seek out a film that is beloved by children. Alia further stated that she is actively searching for such a project.

About Alia's personal life

Alia and Ranbir were in a relationship for several years before tying the knot in April 2022. Their first child, Raha, was welcomed into the world in November of the same year. In a delightful surprise for their fans, Ranbir and Alia made their inaugural public appearance with Raha on Christmas 2023.

About Alia's films

Alia will next appear in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film, Love and War, which will also feature Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. This marks Alia's second collaboration with Bhansali, following their previous work together in the 2022 drama, Gangubai Kathiawadi. The official announcement for this film was made in January 2024.

Additionally, Alia is set to star in the upcoming movie Alpha, directed by Shiv Rawail. Alpha, which includes Sharvari in the cast, is slated for release on December 25 of this year.
