Raghu Addresses Allegations Against Mohan Babu: 'No Illegally Acquired Property'

Recently, Chittimalli from Khammam, Telangana, lodged a police complaint against Mohan Babu, making grave accusations and associating him with the death of actor Soundarya in 2004. In response, her husband, Raghu GS, spoke out and provided a statement to Telugu 360, describing the allegations as 'unfounded' and 'false'.

Raghu issued a statement to clarify that the accusations against Mohan are unfounded, asserting that, to his knowledge, there have been no property dealings between his deceased wife and the esteemed actor. He stated, “I wish to refute the unfounded rumors circulating regarding property matters. To clarify, I affirm that Shri Mohan Babu sir has not unlawfully acquired any property from my late wife, Smt. Soundarya. As far as I am aware, we have never engaged in any land transactions with him.”
Additionally, he mentioned that he has known Mohan for over 25 years and that their families, including his late wife and brother-in-law, have shared a profound bond of trust and respect. He further remarked, “I hold Shri Mohan Babu sir in high regard and feel it is important to share the truth with everyone. We maintain a strong relationship and consider ourselves family with Shri Mohan Babu sir. In this regard, I want to reiterate that there are no property transactions involving him.” He urged the public to cease the dissemination of false information.
The allegations on Mohan Babu
Chittimalli, who reported a threat to his life from Mohan, submitted a police complaint asserting that the actor coerced Soundarya and her brother Amarnath into selling him six acres of land along with a guesthouse located in Jalapally near Shamshabad. The complainant contends that Soundarya was murdered, after which Mohan allegedly seized her land by force.
Additionally, the complaint highlighted conflicts between Mohan and his younger son, Manchu Manoj, who is seeking justice in this matter. It is important to note that no FIR has been registered regarding these allegations. In 2004, Soundarya was 31 years old and pregnant at the time of her jet crash, as she was en route to a political campaign accompanied by her brother Amarnath.
