Parineeti recently posted an edited video on X featuring Raghav discussing "food affordability" during the Winter Session of Parliament. In the footage, Raghav referred to the establishment of the Udaan Yatri Cafe as a significant achievement for the public. Parineeti expressed her pride in Raghav by tweeting, "I am incredibly proud of you, my @raghav_chadha, for exemplifying true leadership and addressing a genuine issue!"
She further remarked, "The problem of overpriced food at airports affects countless Indians (including us), and your advocacy has initiated meaningful change with the #UdaanYatriCafe. Cheers to more affordable food and beverages at airports! (Heart eyes emoji) Proud of you, my Ragaii! (Sparkles emoji)."
What Raghav had said about high prices of food at airports
In December of the previous year, Raghav expressed his discontent regarding the high prices of water, tea, and snacks at airports. During his speech in Parliament, he brought attention to the difficulties faced by travellers who are compelled to pay exorbitant rates for food and beverages in these locations. He posed the question, "A water bottle costs ₹100, and tea is priced at ₹200-250. Is it not possible for the government to set up affordable canteens at airports?"
Regarding the Udaan Yatri Cafe initiative, the government subsequently launched this program, beginning with Kolkata's Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport, where passengers can now access reasonably priced food and beverages. The cafe will provide essential items such as water bottles, tea, coffee, and snacks at fair prices.
Concerning Parineeti and Raghav, the couple was married on September 24, 2023, in Udaipur, Rajasthan, surrounded by close friends and family. The event was graced by numerous prominent figures from both the entertainment industry and the political sphere.
Parineeti's most recent appearance was in the film Amar Singh Chamkila, where she starred alongside Diljit Dosanjh under the direction of Imtiaz Ali. In this film, Diljit played the role of Chamkila, a leading artist of his time, while Parineeti portrayed Amar Singh Chamkila's wife, Amarjot Kaur.
