Actor Radhikka Madan recently found herself at the center of controversy due to rumors regarding plastic surgery, sparked by a manipulated video that gained traction on social media. This led fans to speculate whether she had undergone any cosmetic enhancements. In response, the actress promptly addressed the rumors with a clever remark.
Radhikka closes plastic surgery debate
A social media user recently posted an Instagram video featuring altered images of the actress, accompanied by a caption implying that she had made considerable cosmetic alterations. The caption stated, “Do you remember Ishani from Colors TV's hit show? Radhikka Madan appears unrecognizable now after all that cosmetic work."
The post further compared her to actress Mouni Roy, stating, "Radhikka Madan really took notes from Mouni Roy - new face, new vibe.”
The video attracted significant attention online, misleading many users into believing that Radhikka had undergone a dramatic transformation, prompting numerous comments expressing shock and disbelief at the visuals.
Upon noticing the online chatter, Radhikka took to the comment section to humorously dispel the rumors.
Joking about the use of AI in the video, she commented, "Is this all you've done with AI, just raised your eyebrows? Go ahead and do more; this still looks somewhat natural."
Fans have expressed widespread admiration for Radhikka's return. One commenter remarked, “This is an edited video... please refrain from altering actresses' videos for likes,” while another noted, “an epic response with an epic roast.”
Radhikka’s thoughts on Botox
In a previous interview with News18, the actress shared her openness to the possibility of Botox or fillers. She stated, “I don’t criticize those who choose to enhance their appearance, as it can boost their confidence and enhance their self-image, which is crucial... At that time, I didn’t feel the need for it. People would mention that my jaw was slightly uneven. Did they expect me to measure it with a ruler (laughs)? I was quite taken aback because I saw myself as Kareena Kapoor. Perhaps they couldn’t perceive it. I didn’t accept that notion back then.”
The Sarfira actress further mentioned that if she decides to pursue cosmetic injectables in the future, she would do so without hesitation. “I still don’t believe it’s necessary, but maybe in a few years, I might consider it. I’m uncertain, but it will depend on my self-image at that time. I hope it remains as it is now. In my mind, I’m still Kareena Kapoor. And even if I’m not, I won’t judge myself. So, I’m quite comfortable with all of that,” she concluded.
