Actor Radhika Apte recently posted a photograph of herself engaged in breast pumping, noting that she participated in the BAFTA awards merely two months after the birth of her child. On Tuesday, Radhika shared the image on Instagram, which depicted her standing in a bathroom.

In the image, Radhika cradled her pump close to her chest with one hand while holding a champagne glass in the other. The actress beamed as she posed in the bathroom, dressed in a lavender ensemble.

In her post, she remarked, "And now my BAFTAs reality (laughing face emoji) #breastfeeding #postpartum #breastpump. I owe my gratitude to Natasha @tashtash07 for enabling my attendance at the BAFTAs. She arranged the schedule to accommodate my breast pumping needs."

Radhika is depicted in the image, gently holding her breast pump against her chest with one hand, while the other hand elegantly grasps a champagne glass. The actress radiates joy as she poses in the bathroom, adorned in a lavender outfit.

Radhika's film was nominated at BAFTAs

Radhika's comedy horror film, Sister Midnight, received a nomination for Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director, or Producer at the 78th BAFTA Awards. This marks the directorial debut of Karan Kandhari. The film features Radhika in the role of a woman who finds herself ensnared in an unhappy arranged marriage.

In December of the previous year, Radhika revealed the arrival of her child with her spouse, Benedict Taylor. On Instagram, she posted an image featuring herself breastfeeding the newborn, which also marked her return to work after completing her maternity leave.

Radhika and Benedict tied the knot in 2012. The couple, who split their time between London and Mumbai, initially crossed paths in 2011 while Radhika was in London for a sabbatical dedicated to contemporary dance. They cohabited prior to their marriage, which took place in an intimate ceremony in 2012, followed by a formal celebration in 2013.
