Cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal emerged as one of the most searched names during the Champions Trophy final match held in Dubai last night, despite not participating in the game. His presence in the stands alongside a mystery woman generated significant interest, later identified as radio jockey and actress Mahvash. This attention coincided with his ongoing divorce proceedings with reality television personality Dhanashree Verma.

Mahvash's cricket date with Chahal?

Mahvash is currently intensifying the speculation surrounding her dating life. Late on Sunday night, she shared videos and images from the match following India's victory. Chahal appeared in many of these posts, although his face was not visible. In the caption, she remarked, “Kaha tha na jita ke aungi (I told you I'll make them win) I am good luck for team India.”

A video included in the post depicted Mahvash rejoicing alongside the entire stadium following India's victory, as fireworks illuminated the night sky. Additional photographs captured the same jubilant atmosphere. A concluding image showcased Mahvash's attire for the evening.

Her comment section was inundated with references to Chahal and Dhanashree. One user remarked, "Chahal's bowling speed: 75 km/h; Chahal's moving on speed: 999+." Another commenter noted, "Chahal brother is enjoying life to the fullest." A further comment stated, "10,000,000 missed calls from Dhanashree."

Dhanashree Verma and Yuzvendra Chahal's split

Speculation regarding the divorce of Dhanashree and Chahal emerged after the couple unfollowed each other on Instagram, leading to widespread conjecture. This speculation was later substantiated by the confirmation of their decision to divorce.

In January, Chahal addressed the rumours regarding his separation from Dhanashree through a post on Instagram. He expressed gratitude to his fans for their steadfast love and support, stating, "I am grateful to all my fans for their unwavering love and support without which, I wouldn't have come this far. But this journey is far from OVER!!! As there are still many incredible OVERS left to deliver for my country, my team, and for my fans!!!"

Recognizing the "curiosity" surrounding his "personal life," Chahal acknowledged that he had observed various social media posts about him that "may or may not be true."

"I understand the curiosity surrounding recent events, particularly about my personal life. However, I have noticed certain social media posts speculating on matters that may or may not be true," he stated.

"As a Son, a Brother, and a Friend, I humbly request everyone not to indulge in these speculations, as they have caused immense pain to me and my family. My family values have taught me to always wish well for all, strive to achieve success through dedication and hard work, instead of taking shortcuts, and I remain committed to these values. With Divine Blessings, I shall forever strive to seek your love & support and not sympathy," Chahal concluded.

On Wednesday, Dhanashree Verma also spoke out, criticizing "faceless trolls" for disseminating "baseless" allegations that have damaged her "reputation."

"The past few days have been incredibly tough for my family and me. What's truly upsetting is the baseless writing, devoid of fact-checking, and the character assassination of my reputation by faceless trolls spreading hate," she stated in her Instagram post.

Dhanashree Verma and Yuzvendra Chahal were married in December 2020 in a private ceremony in Gurugram. Their relationship began during the pandemic when Chahal sought her out for lessons.
