Allu Arjun's film Pushpa 2: The Rule may be making significant waves at the box office; however, filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane has voiced his dissatisfaction regarding the film's screen distribution. He has articulated his frustration and disappointment concerning the number of screens allocated to Pushpa 2 in comparison to the Golden Globe-nominated film, All We Imagine As Light.
Vikramaditya Motwane upset
Vikramaditya utilized Instagram Stories to convey his sentiments following his congratulations to director Payal Kapadia for receiving two nominations at the Golden Globe Awards 2025.
He expressed his dissatisfaction regarding the absence of her film from theatres, contrasting it with the continued multiple daily screenings of films like Pushpa 2. To illustrate his point, he included a screenshot showcasing the numerous showings of Pushpa 2.
Accompanying the screenshot, Vikramaditya remarked, “And yet, Payal’s incredible success will mean f**k all to us because we will throw her film out, not let it breathe or find an audience, and will have 36 shows a day of one film in a single multiplex. Congratulations. We deserve this (sic).”
The film's crew has not yet responded to the remark made by Vikramaditya.
