Icon star Allu Arjun's latest blockbuster, 'Pushpa 2: The Rule,' is making waves at the box office, amassing over Rs. 600 crores within just three days across Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil markets. However, the film has faced criticism from audiences regarding its ticket pricing. Initially, the film team set the benefit show ticket price at Rs. 1250, with standard rates of Rs. 350 for single screens and Rs. 550 for multiplexes. This pricing strategy has alienated many potential viewers, particularly families, as a family of four would incur costs of Rs. 1380 for a single screen and Rs. 2120 for a multiplex. Consequently, the high ticket prices have significantly impacted the film's reception.

Social media has been rife with satire and criticism concerning these costs. In response to the backlash, the producers of 'Pushpa' announced a reduction in ticket prices starting Monday. The new prices will be Rs. 200 for single screens and Rs. 350 for multiplexes. This adjustment has led to celebrations among Allu Arjun's fans, and analysts anticipate that the lowered prices may encourage previously hesitant audiences to visit theatres.
