The movie Pushpa 2: The Rule, will release in 3,000 locations all over the world and in languages, including Bengali, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. The trailer was dropped on Sunday and stormed the internet. More than 4.13 lakhs of people watched the Bengali trailer in just 13 hours. How was the experience of writing Bengali songs and dialogues in this big-budget South Indian film? Srijato talked about it.
One can sense the buzz of the trailer in Kolkata. Some people are finding fault in the dialogue and some others are elated hearing Bengali. How challenging was the job of writing the dialogue in Bengali, keeping the time constraint and the expressions intact? Srijato said, "Very difficult. Those who did not do it can't imagine. Arranging the feelings and expressions of a different language in the mother tongue, keeping in mind the time limit, is troublesome. A dissertation can be written on this later."
The poet wrote in his Facebook post, "I not only wrote the songs but the dialogues also. The trailer of Pushpa-2 is out and the light wintry wind gets the flavour of fire. The work could be done under the supervision of Genetic Films and with the help of Shourya and his young comrades. It is a different experience. I will write about it later. Now, here is the Bengali trailer. The film is coming in other Indian languages, too. Let a hundred flowers blossom."
The trailer was launched on Sunday at the Gandhi Maidan in Patna, in a lavish program. The trailer showed how the business of a sandal mafia will mesmerize the audience. The sequel shows Pushpa as married to Srivalli. Glimpses of romantic moments between Rashmika and Allu Arjun were seen. Fahadh Faasil stunned the audience as a cop. The film is supposedly a cat-and-mouse chase between Fahadh and Allu Arjun.
