The update shared on Saturday said, “The boy is still in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) on ventilator support but needs very little assistance. His blood flow is stable, and he’s managing tube feedings well. That said, he’s experiencing some fever, is not fully alert, and shows some unusual movements.”
What happened to Sri Teja?
Sri Teja suffered serious injuries in the stampede on December 4 and is currently receiving care at KIMS Cuddles Hospital in Secunderabad. Tragically, his mother, 35-year-old Revathi, lost her life in the incident. Sri Teja was hospitalized because of asphyxiation.
Both Allu Arjun and Sukumar, the director of Pushpa 2, expressed their condolences to the family of the victim. Arjun also contributed ₹25 lakh to support them.
There was quite a buzz at the Sandhya Theatre during the Pushpa 2 screening.
On December 4, Arjun showed up for the Pushpa 2 screening at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad. He was joined by his co-star Rashmika Mandanna and his wife, Sneha Reddy. A huge crowd had gathered, eager to see the actor, which caused a bit of a chaotic scene.
Allu Arjun got arrested but was later released on bail.
The police have opened a case against Arjun and the theatre management over the incident. He was arrested by the Hyderabad police on Friday. According to ANI, they also took into custody M Sandeep, one of the owners of Sandhya Theatre, senior manager M Nagaraju, and the lower balcony supervisor Gandhakam Vijay Chander. The police charged Arjun and his security team under sections 105, 118 (1), and other relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS).
At first, a lower court in Telangana put Arjun in judicial custody for 14 days. His legal team appealed this decision in the Telangana High Court, which granted him interim bail. However, he had to spend the night in jail before being released this morning. The actor's lawyer, Ashok Reddy, voiced frustration over the delay in his release despite the court's ruling.
