Pushpa 2: The Rule has been surrounded by controversy ever since the tragic stampede at its premiere, which resulted in a woman's death in Hyderabad. With new accusations against actor Allu Arjun, which he refuted during a press conference on Saturday, the film's producer, Naveen Yerneni from Mythri Movie Makers, has stepped up by donating ₹50 lakh to Revathi's family.

On Monday, producer Naveen Yerneni spoke to the media about the tragic incident. In a recent video shared by trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan on his X (formerly Twitter) account, the Pushpa 2 producer was seen presenting a cheque to the family of the victim.

He shared his sympathies, stating, “What happened is truly heartbreaking. We’ve been feeling terrible about it since it occurred, and it’s hard to put our emotions into words. Revathi’s passing is a significant loss for her family. The doctors are doing everything they can to help the boy recover. We want to be there for the family.”

Here’s a bit more information

Tensions escalated on Sunday when the actor's home in Hyderabad was damaged by a group claiming to be from the OU JAC (Joint Action Committee of Osmania University students). His father, Allu Aravind, addressed the media, stating, “The police have apprehended the culprits and filed charges against them. They are prepared to detain anyone else who shows up to cause trouble. We shouldn't tolerate incidents like this.”

On December 4, Arjun went to Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad with his family and co-star Rashmika Mandanna. His appearance led to a chaotic scene, resulting in a woman's death and her young son being hospitalized in critical condition. The actor was taken into custody on December 13 and released the following day after the High Court granted him interim bail.
