Priyanka Chopra and her spouse, singer Nick Jonas, recently celebrated the wedding of her brother, Siddharth Chopra. The couple posed for photographs at the sangeet ceremony, where a paparazzo referred to Nick Jonas as "Nicku," prompting a memorable reaction from Priyanka.

Paparazzi refer to Nick Jonas as ‘Nicku’

Dressed in matching traditional blue attire, Priyanka and Nick Jonas attended the sangeet ceremony of Siddharth Chopra and Neelam Upadhyaya. They posed for the photographers at the event, and a Reddit user shared a video with the caption, “Priyanka Chopra cannot contain her laughter as the paparazzi call Nick ‘Nicku’!” In the footage, the actress is seen laughing heartily upon hearing the photographers address her husband as "Nicku."

Paparazzi have previously referred to Nick Jonas by a nickname. During his visit to India for the inauguration of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, he was called "Nickwa." In response to a viral video, one fan commented, "Nickwa remains the superior nickname," while another remarked, "Indian paparazzi are hilarious."

Nick addressed the use of nicknames during his appearance on the BBC Asian Network Breakfast Show, stating, "Yes, I did hear that. It was very good to be back. I love India. It had been a couple of years since I was last there because of Covid, so this was a really fun trip. And yes, great to hear the many nicknames I have now."

Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra's brother, Siddharth Chopra, and Neelam Upadhyaya commenced their wedding celebrations with a Mata Ki Chowki at their residence in Mumbai, followed by Mehendi and Haldi ceremonies. Nick Jonas did not participate in these festivities, while Priyanka attended alongside her daughter, Malti Marie. Siddharth and Neelam exchanged vows in a picturesque wedding ceremony on February 7.
